Madang Prepares for 50th Independence Anniversary
The Madang Provincial Events Committee (MPEC) today hosted a stakeholder meeting at Madang Resort, bringing together a strong turnout of business houses, government departments, and community representatives.
Chairman Siegfried Beschel presented the vision and mission of the Madang Provincial Events Committee plans, outlining what MPEC is doing to prepare for the historic 50th Independence Anniversary celebrations this September.
He urged all stakeholders, business houses, and government agencies to work together in partnership with MPEC to ensure the event’s success and to boost tourism in Madang Province.
“We need to work together, work in partnership to make this a successful celebration,” Chairman Beschel emphasized.
